Let's get something straight. I may occasionally resent the child-like glow that eminates from my husband when he receives a new toy in the mail, but I do not consider myself a toy widow. Do I wish I could be the reason for that sparkle in his eye? Sure, but I'd be pretty disappointed if our shelves weren't full of colorful armored suits, vinyls, and that cool-ass Japanese packaging.
It's not like I haven't been able to use his little obsession to my advantage. We bought some really nice shelves of my choosing from DWR. I also got a cute new piece of luggage in Japan in which we brought back all of his Tokyo purchases. Speaking of which, how the hell else was I going to get a man with such an intense disdain for travel on an 11 hour flight to Tokyo, anyway? See, I know what I'm doing.
So, I'm a little disappointed at being characterized as the wife who chastizes her man for a few little purchases, especially when they're as cool as these:
